Sell your New Year's Eve tickets with YEG Live!
YEG Live e-ticketing is a fast, convenient and secure way to sell tickets for your New Year's Eve event!
Here's how it works:
- Your NYE 2012 event will be listed on a special New Year's 2012 feature page on yeglive.ca. Link from your own web page, from Facebook, and from Twitter to your event page on YEG Live. From there, patrons can buy your tickets using Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, or INTERAC Online. We can also provide you with an embeddable 'Buy Now!' widget for use right in your website.
- e-tickets consist of a unique and secure 2-dimensional barcode
- Patrons love the convenience and security of not having to handle paper tickets
- e-ticket barcodes are scanned using a free app on your smartphone (iPhone, BlackBerry, or Android) and the e-tickets are validated and redeemed in our central e-ticket system
- You can also use a handheld scanner or any web browser (i.e., on a laptop or regular computer) to validate and redeem e-tickets
- Don't want to scan? Do you prefer a paper list? No problem! We will also provide you with a printable list of guests' names and ticket information
Features of YEG Live e-ticketing:
Start online sales for your New year's event in 60 minutes! |
We just need to know a few key details such as event title & description, artists, venue/location, maximum number of e-tickets to sell, advance and door price, price tiers, contact information, etc. We use DocuSign for fast and convenient online contract e-signatures, which means we can be up and running within less than an hour.
Secure your patrons' attendance instantly |
Patrons receive their e-tickets by email within moments of completing their order. If they bought multiple tickets in a single order, they can then forward their e-ticket to the other guests in their party. Everyone can get their ticket instantly without having to visit a box office, wait for snail mail, or arrange hand-to-hand delivery.
Streamline your entrance |
Our system offers true paperless e-ticketing! Most patrons prefer to show their e-ticket barcodes on their smartphones (because it's cool and convenient), but they always have the option to print out their e- tickets, if they don't have a smartphone or they prefer to have it on paper.
Reward your advance purchase patrons with convenience |
Don't punish your guests by making them line up for “will-call” ! It takes just seconds to scan & redeem e-tickets right at the entrance to your event and everyone gets in quicker. Of course, we can still provide you with a traditional “will-call” patron list if you prefer!
Make sure everyone pays their way |
When you scan & redeem an e-ticket, it is 'burned' in our central system, which eliminates the potential for ticket fraud – once an e-ticket is redeemed, it can't be reused. Plus, you can always retrieve the scanning and redemption history for any of your event e-tickets.
Impress your patrons and help them impress their friends |
Patrons love e-ticketing because it's slick, secure, and convenient. It's not just for airlines anymore – now your event can benefit from 21st century e-ticketing!
