Tracy Thomas

Edmonton native, Tracy Thomas released her debut pop/rock album "Before the Dawn" in Los Angeles in July of 2010 and has since been playing gigs around the L.A. area, as well as a few gigs in Europe. Notable venues she has played at are the world-famous Whisky A Go Go and The Key Club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood; Molly Malones, SIR Studios, and BB King's Universal City Walk in Los Angeles; The Knitting Factory in Hollywood; and the Gospel Forum in Germany. Tracy will be playing with her band at The Viper Room on the Sunset Strip on July 26th. She is currently working on her second album in Los Angeles, and has recently begun writing for film & TV. Tracy is also known for her work as a young actor in theatre in Edmonton, playing such roles as Maria in Westside Story, Anne in Anne of Green Gables, Mary in The Secret Garden, and many other roles. She has a BFA in Acting from U of A, and has acted at the Stratford Festival and the Shaw Festival in Ontario, as well as doing theatre work in Toronto, before moving down to L.A. Tracy performed in the Canadian feature film "Intern Academy," and did a guest spot on "Corner Gas." She has also acted in a number of films since living in L.A., and worked at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare festival, as well as other regional theatres in the L.A. area.
