Chris Hillman

As a founding member of 60’s seminal artists The Byrds, Chris helped spearhead a whole new sound to a generation of fans. He followed that up with stints in the classic Flying Burrito Brothers, and the woefully under appreciated Manassas with Stephen Stills. He then went on to form The Desert Rose Band with old time friend and Nashville recording ace Herb Pedersen. The Desert Rose Band went on to chart a pair of Top Ten country hits including "Love Reunited" and "One Step Forward," which peaked at number two. Released in 1988, "He's Back and I'm Blue" topped the country charts, as did "I Still Believe in You," from the album Running. Two other singles from the record, "Summer Wind" and a cover of John Hiatt's "She Don't Love Nobody," reached the Top Five.
