In August 2006 she debuted at the Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival, where she performed solo irish/celtic music and also joined forces with ecletic cultural group Mokojah.  Although trained as a classical musician, her interests and abilities range from classical to rock, folk, celtic and jazz/blues styles of performance.  She will be featured on the Edmonton-Jasper train from June 7 to 9, 2007 as part of VIA Rail's Artists on Rails presentation.

Her first independent recording, Meditations, was released in November 2006.

Amity currently freelances in Edmonton as a versatile performer, and as one of 4 Suzuki flute teachers in Western Canada, also has an active teaching studio.
