Classical soprano Erika Vogel has just returned home to Edmonton from New York City where she completed a Professional Studies Diploma at the renowned Manhattan School of Music. Before that, Erika lived in Montreal for three years taking in the baroque and early music scene and perfecting her French.

Summer of 2008, while attending a music festival in Barcelona, Erika discovered her passion for Spanish and Latin American classical music and has never looked back. She is devoted to discovering and performing rare and exotic music of composers from all over Spain and Latin America including Brazil and Catalonia.

Audiences love Erika’s ability to entertain with charming explanations of the music and poetry she performs so that a concert is a playful and profound journey and not a lofty, intellectual experience.
