Kollage is Canada's premiere hard bop band. It was originally formed in 2000 by the iconic Order of Canada jazz drummer Archie Alleyne (Billie Holiday, Stan Getz, Harry "Sweets" Edison and many more) along with his childhood friend, tenor saxophonist Doug Richardson. Their goal was to celebrate and preserve the tradition of great compositions that came out of the jazz world during the Blue Note era of the 50's and 60's.

Over the years Kollage created a name for themselves with their own original music and has become an institution that has received recognition with numerous awards both nationally and internationally.

Some of Canada's finest jazz musicians today such as Robi Botos and Alexis Baro started their careers in Canada as contributing members of Kollage.

The current lineup is led by pianist and musical director Stacie McGregor who was chosen by the last founding member, Archie Alleyne, just prior to his passing in 2015.

A new era for Kollage was marked in 2017 with their 11 song release titled "No Fuss, No Muss" (a phrase that was often used by Alleyne himself) featuring original compositions by band members Stacie Gregor, Michael Arthurs, Artie Roth and Don Laws.
