Soft March

Soft March began in 2013 with the songwriting partnership between Joel Kleine and Paul Jensen. Their first collaboration, 'QEII', a rootsy singalong song set on Alberta's highway, was selected as a finalist in ATB's All-Alberta Songwriting contest from over 130 entries. Since then, they've been joined by drummer Tanner Onciul and singer/multi-instrumentalist Rachel Gleddie to create an original folk-pop-rock sound. Lyrically, their songs explore togetherness, separation, loneliness and celebration of their home province. Musically, they're at home with Jason Collett, Blue Rodeo and Bahamas with a focus on melodic hooks, full band harmonies and engaging arrangements. Their performance suits an intimate folk club setting as much as it does a big stage.
