Recently, he has been honoured with a nomination for Best New Artist at The Maple Blues Awards, two Rising Star nominations from CBC and back to back Blues Album of the Year nominations from the East Coast Music Association. A true road warrior in every sense, Ross Neilsen spent much of the last two years living out of his van, on friend’s couches and fan’s floors so he could dedicate himself to his craft.
