WeUsedToBeFriends

WeUsedToBeFriends is a Canadian rock band formed in 2013 by guitarist Jim Ward and singer Randy McCoy in Edmonton, Alberta. In the late 2000’s, Ward and McCoy played together along with bass player Rod Wolfe, and drummer Erik Wikman in the rock band cusp. Band members revived the group after close friends lamented its loss, added multi-instrumentalist Tophie Davies, and renamed themselves WeUsedToBeFriends. With music described as “textural atmospheric crunch”, their debut EP will be released in early 2015. The band’s name is taken from a song by the American rock band The Dandy Warhol’s, introduced to all at one of Wolfe’s famous house parties.
