Canadian Tenors

The Canadian Tenors’ music is an exciting blend of classical and contemporary pop that is thrilling audiences of all ages around the world. The Tenors are the incredibly powerful voices of four gifted young men with diverse vocal styles, undeniable charm and international solo success.

The Canadian Tenors have criss-crossed the globe thrilling millions of music lovers with their magical voices, wonderful sense of humor and memorable music. The foursome have received rave reviews and standing ovations from the Tel Aviv Opera house where they shared the stage with Andrea Bocelli; to Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Coliseum and NYC’s Madison Square Gardens with David Foster and Friends Hitman Tour; to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre where they headlined at ONE NIGHT LIVE with STING and Sheryl Crow; to Sarah McLachlan’s Summer Sessions concert with Neil Young and in London with the legendary Paul McCartney at the Old Vic theatre.

This vocal sensation’s debut album has gone platinum in Canada and is being released around the world by Universal Music and its affiliates. Their recently released holiday album entitled “The Perfect Gift” also went gold in Canada in only three weeks and is being released in the US this holiday season. The music of Port McNeil’s Clifton Murray, Toronto’s Victor Micallef, Quebec’s Remigio Pereira and Vancouver’s Fraser Walters is rich and soulful with powerful anthems and beautiful melodies. The Canadian Tenors’ unique repertoire is sung not only in English and French but also in Spanish and Italian reflecting their multicultural heritage. The talented singers collaborated with world-renowned producers Quiz and Larossi in Sweden (Il Divo), Bob Ezrin (Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd), Grammy Award-winner Steve Thompson (Madonna) and Juno Award winner Jeff Wolpert (Loreena McKennitt). The critics and audiences have agreed that their first two albums are full of memorable hits that feature classic songs along with romantic operatic arrangements. Highlights include the haunting and anthemic version of the well-loved Adagio and the extraordinary David Foster composed Because We Believe and The Prayer. They have also recorded a rousing version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah produced by Bob Ezrin.

After an extensive search for the perfect blend of tenor voices, The Canadian Tenors' founder, Jill Ann Siemens, a composer from Victoria, British Columbia, brought together the talents of Fraser Walters, Remigio Pereira and Victor Micallef in 2006. After an introduction through Universal Music, the three original members invited Clifton Murray to join the group in early 2009, thus completing The Canadian Tenors
