Alanna Clarke

Meet Alanna Clarke, a passionate and driven young artist, with all the attributes needed for a long and successful music career. Alanna has a unique and captivating vocal style with a strong, clear, smooth, warm voice that draws the listener into her original songs. She accompanies herself on guitar and piano and has a fun, laidback stage presence very much enjoyed by her audiences.

Alanna is remarkably decorated given her young age, no doubt the tip of the iceberg for what she will achieve throughout her career. Her songwriting and vocal talents caught the interest of Christopher Ward (writer of “Black Velvet”) and Luke McMaster (McMaster & James), with whom she is busy co-writing her first album. Alanna has also created an acoustic demo (The Way I Am 2009) of her original material, produced by Ashwin Sood and Brian Farrell.

In 2008 Alanna was recipient of the Don Weldon Award for most promising performer at the Calgary Stampede Talent Search. Alanna has wide and eclectic musical interests, and her own music is influenced by such diverse artists as Alanis Morissette, Ani Difranco, Fiona Apple and Tori Amos.
