Sixguns over Tombstone’s debut album, “Putting Revenge on the Map”, was released July 10th 2009, at the Urban Lounge in Edmonton Alberta to almost 300 headbanging fans. After 6 years of trudging through the metal scene, Sixgun has emerged triumphant, recently opening up for international acts such as Hibria (Brazil), Toxic Holocaust (USA), Quo Vadis (Can), Atheist (USA) and Stratovarius (Finland), as well as playing at the inaugural Harvesting Hell festival in Alberta. The essence of the band, and metal itself, has been distilled down into the remaining 3 members of Sixguns over Tombstone, who are each masters of their chosen instrument. As the second coming of Heavy Metal dawns over the torn and bloody corpses of the faithless and non-believers, Sixguns over Tombstone is poised to resurrect Heavy Metal’s dominance through incorporating new and fresh ideas into the purest teachings of the genre.
