Andrew Jenks: Room 335

USA/English (90 mins)

Encore Presentation. What happens when a nineteen year old college student moves into a seniors’ facility in Florida? In the summer of 2006, one precocious young man thought it would be fun to find out ‘what old people do’. By the fourth week, friends have been hospitalized, he witnesses the heartbreak of dementia, and he’s faced with the death of a friend. By the end of this life-changing summer, he’s formed unimaginable bonds with some of the greatest, and oldest, people that life has to offer.

EIFF is proud to bring back this audience favorite, for a special encore screening. While Andrew may be a big-time MTV star now (as creator and star of “World of Jenks”), his message is timeless: you can learn a lot about life from those who have really lived it.
