Wasepic

Wasepic is a band formed in 2002 on the outskirts of Devon, in the "Parkland County Hood," of Alberta. The band consisted of two guys for the majority of their 10 years together, playing with different side drummers along the way. Wasepic has taken in a new member and drummer for the last year and a half, who goes by the name Aaron "The Albatross" Skaley (Previous band: The Jargon Diagram). Front man Jared "Peat Moss" Epp and Greg "Long Grass" Becic both play the guitar, bass, and sing, while Jared concentrates more on the guitar and Greg the bass. Wasepic is a band that doesn't play a lot of shows, but makes sure every new show is different from the last. The lack of shows comes from a lack of time from us going to University, and pursuing other careers we love as well, as we continue to pursue our music dreams. We have never toured before, but just played around the Edmonton area. One day, we hope to tour the World. Old and new tracks are being laid down all the time, and hopefully, will continue throughout our lives. Wasepic plays a different type of music, with a mixture of folk rock, post-punk, and psychedelic beats. We hope that in the future we can have a bunch of our new songs recorded in the studio, and maybe even a couple music videos. Only time will tell. Our motto: It's A Journey Far From Over.
