In addition to his success as a performer, both on saxophone and piano, Phil Dwyer is a composer, arranger and one of the most recorded musicians in Canada. Phil is featured as a player, writer, or producer on seven Juno Award winning recordings, and is included on another 15 Juno nominated recordings. The National Jazz Awards have named him best arranger and best saxophonist on multiple occasions, and he won the "best soloist" prize at the BBC Big Band competition in Great Britain early in his career.
