Named Canada's Favourite Classical Artist/Group at the 2009 Indie Awards, Canadian Brass has a long history of recording a classical repertoire. Having just celebrated its 35th season, the quintet has more than 60 recordings to date, including works by Purcell, Vivaldi, Gabrieli, Pachelbel, Beethoven and Wagner. They have a special affinity for Baroque music, which requires the brilliance and musical structure that has become the Canadian Brass' trademark.
This ensemble includes the talents of Jeff Nelsen (French Horn), Chris Coletti (Trumpet), Brandon Ridenour (Trumpet), Gene Watts (Trombone), and Chuck Daellenbach (Tuba).
