The Samantha King Band

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Samantha King grew up believing music to be her calling. Her career has spanned over 20 years and has given her notoriety as a stand alone vocalist and songwriter, able to hold her own amongst her peers. Juno nominee is 2004, Canadian Country Music Awards nominee 3 consecutive years, and the grand prize winner of the 2006 John Lennon Songwriting Competition (Country Music Category) and was the official anthem singer for the Edmonton Oilers for 2 consecutive years. Samantha was born to sing the blues, with her fiery, yet emotional delivery of every song she sings. Sandro Dominelli is one of Canada’s most creative, talented and tasteful drummers. As a composer, Sandro hit the scene in 2003 and has since received rave reviews and accolades for his work. He has been honoured by both the Western Canadian Music Awards for Outstanding Jazz Recording and was a 2004 Juno nominee for “Best Traditional Jazz Album of the Year”. Sandro has also backed blues guitar virtuoso Jack Semple. An established producer, band leader and musician extraordinaire, it’s no wonder Sandro has created a name for himself in the top echelon of Canadian Talent. Originally from Sept-Iles in Quebec, Marc Beaudin is a full-time professional musician, band leader & producer. His musical compositions and arrangements have been recorded by Juno nominee Sandro Dominelli, WCMA nominee Don Berner, The Canadian Tenors, Ronald Tremblay and Guy Hebert, just to name a few. As a former member of the Canadian Forces Music Branch, Marc has travelled the world playing music and has used his experience and knowledge of the industry to create one of the most successful Canadian party bands, The Retrofitz! Edmonton blues veteran Jimmy Guiboche, has spent almost 2 decades earning a reputation as one of Canada’s premier blues figures, both as a sideman, band leader and promoter/producer.
