Jessica writes introverted songs about introspective things, using electric guitar and what has been described as her deadpan yet emotive vocal style She uses her music to call bull on certain celebrated scientists, pay homage to the northern boreal forest, speculate about human and animal life cycles, and so on. She has been performing as a solo act in Edmonton for just under three years and is currently working on her first album 'Brother Loyola', set to be released in September 2010.
