Perry Gratton

Perry Gratton is a local graphic designer, actor, director, and all around gentleman. He studied theatre at the University of Alberta, graduating with BFA in Acting in 2012. He started doing graphic design nearly 8 years ago, and he has become increasingly busy designing posters, programs, business cards, album covers, and more. His work has been seen on street corners and record store shelves from Vancouver to Halifax, and he has had the pleasure of helping out many friends producing local independent theatre and music events. This is Perry’s first exhibition of his work, and features a large number of new pieces entitlted Gratitude, which are a collaboration with local photographer and fellow actor (and UofA BFA Acting grad) Mat Simpson.

These new pieces feature digitally manipulated portraits of Perry's friends and family, and are a way of reaching out, recognizing, and ultimately thanking the wonderful community of people he has found himself surrounded by and immersed in, and which has seen fit to support and encourage him through a tumultuous last few years.
This show is dedicated to his former roommate and friend, Adam Cope, who passed away in 2013.
