In 2010 Simon Lock, a long retired house Deejay, mainly influenced by early house, brit pop, new wave and today’s indie sought out a music production partner to compliment his dance based ideologies. Lock’s axiom for his music has always been “it’s okay to feel, to party, to dance, to rave, to chill out, to scold, to breakup, to feel better, to fall in love again, to lose oneself and remember what reckless abandon feels like.” Simon found Isis Graham; also a house Deejay, and solo singer. Isis brought new electricity to the project with her electronic music back ground and vocal style. The concept was simple. To create straight up dance music without the pretentiousness, the kind that you don’t need a VIP pass to get into. In the fall of 2011, the two recruited Vancouver based singer/songwriter/bassist Adam Gasten and Terrace was finally born. The three finished working on their debut EP “Pollen” which was released in November, 2011 and are currently working on their second EP due for release late spring 2012. In Early spring 2012, Isis Graham left Terrace to pursue a solo career. Jodi Kane Hoesing joined TERRACE as resident keyboardist in April 2012.
