This Edmonton based duo is a joining of Lynett McKell and Megan Kemshead, often joined with percussionist Matt Grier. They have been touching down at cafes, folk festivals, pubs and of course late night campfires acrpss the province. You will not soon forget the sweet licks and sometimes haunting songs these women have to offer. The gypsy styled instrumentation lays out a smooth foundation for the vocal harmonies to float above – and they do just that. Their voices blend together to create an instrument within themselves. The songs resonate as far as the experiences that they’ve each had; whether it be camping, travelling, motherhood love or loss. Each with their own style of writing, every song is unique, vast and personal. This trio brings a lively show with a listenable diversity that keeps your ears guessing and your toes tapping.
