Krysta Scoggins

Born & raised in Alberta, Krysta was deep into music from the very beginning. Residing in Fort Saskatchewan and later in Manville, she was working on guitar and piano skills by age 5, started song writing at 13 and performing for large crowds shortly thereafter. Krysta headed to the University of Alberta majoring in music education but she could not stay away from live performance and this led to opening slots for Trace Adkins, Emerson Drive, Tricia Yearwood, Paul Brandt, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jason McCoy, Johnny Reid, George Canyon, and many more.

During her career, this petite and sassy Albertan beauty has become renowned for her high-octane, kick ass performances. Producer Scott Baggett describes the first time he flew to Canada to see Krysta perform; “She was like nitro-glycerine set to music. She worked that stage like a seasoned veteran and had the crowd on her side very quickly. Her energy, stage presence and dynamic vocals knocked everyone’s socks off!”

In a very short time Krysta has built an impressive list of achievements, performing all over the world; Showcasing for the Canadian Country Music Association; performing at the Big Valley Jamboree, Calgary Stampede and Tootsies Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee and travelling to Israel and Egypt to perform for our Canadian Military and United Nation troops.
