Guitarist Sjoerd Meyer, having had a strong desire for music for as long as he can remember, picked up the guitar at the age of 11 and has not been able to put it down since. Through years of experience playing and singing in many settings such as pop/rock/country bands, church, choirs, acoustic and jazz performances, Sjoerd has become a stylistically diverse performer. He is currently a busy session player in a variety of these scenes.

But more than just a guitarist, Meyer is a musician; a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and performer. He is setting grounds for a solo career showcasing his original music.

His songwriting style exposes his desire to seek the truth and speak his mind, yet poetically leaves a freedom for interpretation. Backed by a rhythmically and harmonically diverse style of music, the combination forms an inspiring and intellectual listening experience for both young and old.
