In early 2005, four party animals from the northern wasteland of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, a city over-run by brutal crust, gym-short hardcore and freakout indie rock, decided it was time for something new in their music scene. In answer to the growls, grunts and beards of the music surrounding them, LET’S DANCE felt it necessary to re-introduce a forgotten sound to their city.

Heavily influenced by late 70’s punk and power-pop, LET’S DANCE play fast energetic songs that force their audience to heed what the band’s namesake demands. Since their inaugural performance LET’S DANCE has toured throughout western Canada. Playing blistering sets, sharing the stage with the likes of The Wednesday Night Heroes, Clorox Girls, the Epoxies, the Canadian Subhumans and the Tranzmitors, audiences have been left with bleeding eardrums and a yearning for more. After a couple line-up changes and an attitude adjustment, the band has recorded a 3 song EP entitled “Summer Breeze” that has been released by San Francisco label LONGSHOT MUSIC and Edmonton’s Own PARTY’S OVER RECORDS.

In the Summer of 2008 LET'S DANCE completed a cross Canada tour. After coming home they where introduced to there new split 7 inch with AVENUE ROSE.

From super catchy pop-hooks to the giant oversized 3D glasses, LET’S DANCE’s “Summer Breeze EP” is a must for any fan of good times and good tunes. LET’S DANCE play with force and conviction, a high-energy show that will leave you jumping in your sleep and your head pounding for a week. From International labels to punk/power-pop radio stations in the United States, the “Summer Breeze EP” has already been generating a lot of attention.
