Evolving from the prairies of Edmonton, Alberta is a unique rock group driven by a united goal of future a career in music industry. Se7en Sided (pronounced Seven Sided) is an active rock group consisting of 4 members spread out from all different walks of life. The group formed back in 2003 with several different line ups and over the years grew into its current line up of Darren Nakonechny (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Graham Bissell (Lead Guitar), Jon Squires (Bass Guitar), & Aaron Hanley (Drums & Percussion). Se7en Sided was crowned the 2010 Canadian Radio Star Regional Winners for their debut single “Rust”. The contest was judged out of thousands of bands and artists nationally by radio & media Industry professionals; Astral Media & Canadian Music Week. Only 12 selected Artists in all of Canada were a part of this prominent competition. The bands single “Rust” was the their first release off their full length album “The Silver Lining” which has had a surprising amount of success in commercial radio market across Canada. The debut album has seen singles “Rust, Your Fool, Face Yourself & Its Over” aired on several commercial radio stations including (102.3 NOW Radio, 100.3 The Bear, Rock 95, The Wolf 106.9, Zed 99, CFWE, Wolf 104.9, Drum FM & more). Se7en Sided has worked hard in every aspect of their music including their live performances, their energetic and crowd interacting performances has earned them the opportunity to share the stage with Canadian touring ac ts (Default, Social Code, Soul Side In, The Artist Life & more). The group has even graced the stage of major arenas such as Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta. Since the release of the bands full length album, they have been busy performing around Canada in support of their album “The Silver Lining” and exposing their music coast to coast. Touring in nothing more than a 8 Passenger Van & Cargo trailer the members of Se7en Sided have had countless hours on road working endless days to establish their name through out the music industry in hopes of someday signing to a Major Record Label. Though some artists will work their entire lives with little success, Se7en Sided has accomplished a vast amount of achievements in a short period of time. They will continue on track, staying focused while attempting reach & conquer the next step in their musical careers.
