With an infectiously unforgettable score from four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner and musical theatre giant, Stephen Schwartz (the composer of Wicked and Godspell), Pippin is the story of one young man's journey to be extraordinary. This classic musical, first performed on Broadway in 1972, uses the premise of a mysterious performance troupe to tell the story of a young prince who longs to find passion and adventure in his life.

Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, this updated circus-inspired version of Pippin continues to captivate and appeal to the young at heart throughout the world. Pippin's message is universal and will connect with audiences across the age spectrum.

Pippin is one of three productions in the 2019/20 MacEwan University Theatre Season:
The Crucible (January 29 - February 8, 2020)
Legally Blonde (March 25 - April 4, 2020)
