Common Ground Presents: The Edmonton Show 5!
This time around it's being presented as a part of Edmonton's premiere emerging art festival, Nextfest!
The show is being hosted by local improvisers Matt Schuurman and Tim Mikula! It will feature an immense art gallery in the Avenue Theatre lobby, as well as a whole night of live performances including: A contemporary dance piece choreographed by Jason Romero Charming solo musician Lyra Brown A few hilarious films by the local and wonderful Highwire Films A showstopping physical theatre number, performed and choreographed by Chelsea Preston A beautiful dance number choreographed by Rebecca Sadowski Stand-up comedians Mike Robertson and Natasha Richardson Ben Wheelwright, Tim Dowler-Coltman and Andrea Rankin are gonna be clowning around A presentation of Edmonton's BalconyTV An independent dance film directed by Darius Raw and choreographed by Molly Staley The often inebriated and always talented musician, Rusty The lovely Julie Jonas Band! The uber-talented Scantily Clad and The Well Dressed Men! And last but not least Edmonton's own... Scenic Route to Alaska
