Tanner Gordon & the Unfortunates is a band based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Originally starting off as a 14 year old solo folk singer/songwriter, Tanner Gordon has developed new limbs as a musician over the years. With the addition of lead guitar player Bryce Thornton, bassist Tim Plamondon and drummer Brendan Urban to his already edgy acoustic guitar playing, the Unfortunates were formed.

Tanner Gordon & the Unfortunates play a grungy style of folk; a genuine, hard-edged, in-your-face instrument base encompassed by the storytelling essence of folk music (like mixing Nirvana and Neil Young into a melodic uproar). Tanner has played over 100 shows locally and has headlined numerous sold-out concerts along the way. The second and latest full-length album has received rave reviews across North America and is available for purchase online, for download on iTunes and available at HMVs nationwide.
