The RoseBowl has been a fixture of Edmonton’s downtown in its home just off Jasper Avenue for the last 27 years, and to this day remains one of the city’s longest-running and most successful independent family businesses.  We’re proud of the reputation we’ve earned over the last three decades as absolutely the BEST pizza in town!  In spite of the many fast food and chain franchises that have multiplied across our city during that time, Rose Bowl’s traditional approach and passion for quality have kept Edmontonians coming back again and again for the unique and memorable taste of our pizza.

But even as our food and our reputation got better and better over the years, the more the age and the wear and tear on our venue started to show.  We knew a renovation was in order.  Soon after the project got underway, Sam (Rose Bowl’s owner) was standing in the middle of his construction site when he had an idea.  He knew he could build on Rose Bowl’s reputation and inject it with a new energy by combining the quality and the tradition of the slow cooked, premium pizza Edmonton already loved with a revamped chef’s menu, signature cocktails and full bar service in a hip, modern, urban atmosphere.  Soon, what started as a minor remodeling had become a full-scale renovation as Sam kept demolishing, preparing to transform his tiny family pizzeria into his vision – a downtown Edmonton nightlife destination.  The result?  Rouge Lounge.
