Wool on Wolves is an Edmonton, Alberta based folk-rock band. The group formed in the late summer of 2008 and united immediately around their love of creating honest music. Together, the group works diligently to produce thought provoking and heart-felt music which they hope will both relax and inspire the listener. Wool on Wolves holds a genuine belief that music has the ability to move beyond speakers and headphones to truly encapsulate the human experience. As performers, the band attempts to both convey and invoke genuine emotion through their music.

Each member of the group is a multi-instrumentalist, which allows for the listener to break from the predictable preconceptions of what constitutes modern pop and rock music. Well-educated in classic and modern musical aesthetics and with tastes as diverse as their University degrees, the band aims to write and perform material that is fresh yet familiar at the same time.

Wool on Wolves released their debut EP on April 16th 2010 (available on CD Baby & iTunes). With no time to rest, the group were back into the studio just one week later to begin work on their first full length LP with acclaimed producer Nik Kozub. As their album currently nears completion, excitement builds for their record's release in late summer of of this year.

Although the group works confidently and tirelessly in the studio to craft a quality musical product, Wool on Wolves feels that their music is best experienced live as a part of an energetic crowd to which the band extends their excitement and genuine love.
