Ras Bee

Ras Bee is committed to expressing stories, creating imaginative artwork, and passing on knowledge through the artform of Hip Hop. He is a co-founder of Zion Collective & Zion Noiz Arts & Music Festival, which focus on developing and sustaining culture and arts in Edmonton, Alberta. He hosted a monthly gig called 'Original Saturday's', showcasing original, local musicians in 2012/2013, and continues to infuse these elements into the organization of Zion Noiz.

As a solo artist, Bee has been rocking stages from Astral Harvest Music & Arts Festival (Driftpile, AB), Freezer Burn '12, '13, & 14 (Albertan Regional Burning Man Fest), Mad Hatter Music Festival (Edmonton, AB), Live Life Loud Festival, One Love Festival (Squamish, BC), as well as Hip Hop in Park 2013 & 2014.

He has also opened for the likes of Lee Reed (formerly of Warsawpack), Moka Only & Test Their Logik.

Ras emcees in a band called the Subculture alongside Lady Love, with a constantly evolving and rotating cast of musicians. The Subculture is a six-to-nine piece band which carries a Funk-Hip Hop-Soul vibe to the stage, bringing an amazing mix of live energy.
