Folk Edmonton, AB Website
Barobliq

Barobliq's music is the product of bilingual parents, a lifetime of dichotomy and an overactive imagination steeped in fantasy. His signature style is sometimes referred to as "psychedelic folk", for his unconventional combination of folk style with subtly paganistic lyrics and impulsively emotional composition. Bearing an armload of French and English songs, Barobliq enjoys rocking out back and forth between his two mother tongues. In 2009, Barobliq won the Chant'Ouest, a Western Canadian francophone music competition, which landed him a spot as a semi-finalist in the Festival international de la chanson de Granby. He is now raising funds to put together his first EP!
