Even after ten years as Artistic Director, the palette of creativity and beauty we have gathered for this season continues to astound me.

Over 200 singers, including four internationally acclaimed soloists. 31 hand-picked dancers from around the globe. More than 30 exceptional designers. Nine of the greatest composers. Seven world-renowned choreographers. Six Alberta premieres. Three prestigious national and international tours. Two full size orchestras and a pair of world premieres. An exhilarating guest company, a breathtaking pianist, a tribute to the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and an exciting collaboration with one of the greatest singers of our time: k.d. lang.

Drawn from an astounding 47 week schedule — the longest in our history — this year's program is sure to dazzle the most worldly dance aficionados and newest fans alike with a mix of the 20th century's greatest masterpieces and several exciting new creations.

As one of North America's most acclaimed classical and contemporary dance companies, I'm proud to welcome you into the gallery of music, emotion and kinetic sculpture we call ballet. And invite you to join us for our 46th season of Performing Art.
