Paving the way for the next wave of tech house coming out of the US, Chicago native John Summit has been turning heads with his groove and percussive driven productions featuring rolling basslines and infectious vocals. Having already scored releases through tech giants Repopulate Mars, Toolroom, Dirtybird, and Solotoko, John's mark on the dance scene has been nothing short of monumental.

In May of 2019, his Dirtybird debut 'Detonate' with Westend dominated the summer festival scene and remained a Tech House Top 100 track on Beatport for months while also being rinsed by label - head Claude VonStroke during his EDC Vegas and Movement Detroit sets. Meanwhile, Lee Foss has been championing John's rise to the Summit both in his sets and through his label. His Repopulate Mars debut 'Divine Ritual' and end of summer heater 'Viva Voce' received support all the way through Fall from Chus & Ceballos, Solardo, Yolanda Be Cool and more.

Following the success of the prior two tracks, Lee brought John back to his imprint for the third time to close out the year with three -piece-beast 'Stimulate' EP which reached #1 on Beatport's December Tech House Releases. While all three tracks from the EP were simultaneously perched on the site's Tech House Top 100 list. Since then, the EP has garnered support on 'The Spot' by Solardo and 'The Birdhouse' by Claude VonStroke on Diplo's Revolution from SiriusXM.

John also has been championed by Chicago house legend Gene Farris who recruited him to become an integral part of his record label, Farris Wheel Recordings. Making a habit of dominating the charts, his first single on the label 'Guest List' with Dead Space became the highest - charting track in the label's history which was soon followed by 'Seen It All' alongside Eyes Everywhere, the label's second bestseller. John has since gone on to collaborate with the label boss himself for the first time with 'Bass Go' on Sonny Fodera's Solotoko.

In this past year alone, 12 of John's tracks have reached Beatport's Tech House Top 100, with 4 of these also entering Beatport's Overall Top 100. With dance floor weapons like 'Addiction', 'Detonate', 'Seen It All', and 'Esa Boca' and more, it is no wonder John has held a top 30 spot on Beatport's Tech House Artist list in the last 12 months. Locked in with a loaded tour schedule and numerous upcoming releases, 2020 is set to be an even bigger year for the Chicago sensation
