On April 26, 2014, the fourth annual Eat Alberta conference will take place at NAIT. Eat Alberta is an annual, one day, workshop-style conference. Through a mix of hands-on and demonstration workshops, tasting sessions, and presentations from some of the leaders of our food community – farmers, chefs and local food advocates – we hope that participants will learn how to use and source local food as well as develop nurturing and ongoing relationships with one another and with those that produce our food.
Participants come together with farmers, chefs, winemakers, foragers, bakers, and beekeepers to learn about what is produced in our province, how to prepare it, and what it tastes like. Past attendees have expressed that that the variety of sessions, quality of teaching, and exposure to local food heroes is second to none. Better yet, they tell us that the value for their dollar is unparalleled.
Registration is $150.00 (+$1.99 e-ticket fee). An optional Eat Alberta Apron can be added to your registration for $20.00 during the checkout.
